One thing I really like about Firefox is the ability to give keyword shortcuts to bookmarks.  Just create a bookmark, and next to keyword, just add a short abbreviation to jump to that site later. Nice!

Chrome does this too, but it's a little bit hidden.  Here's how you do it though.

Right click on the URL bar and choose "Edit Search Engines"


At the bottom of the new window, press the plus sign and you get this little dialogue:


You can then put in a name, URL, and keyword.  This is great for bookmarkets as well, as you can paste the javascript in to the URL field.  I like typing "pin" to send the URL to my account, or "reddit" to submit the site I'm on to reddit.
